Four sisters given magical powers in order to defeat evil. One can move things with their mind, another freeze time and the third see the future. Together they make up the Charmed Ones. When the oldest sister, Prue, dies another half sister is found in Paige. The family must find their new roles and deal with their loss. With Paige this means learning to be a witch while dealing with finding a family and at the same time taking the place of a lost sister.

Phoebe spends many years as the youngest sister and the rebel. She is the teenage runaway that eventually flees the family home, only returning upon the death of their grandmother . She is the feisty sister unlucky in love causing a lot of trouble for her siblings.

Paige

Paige is the younger sister only found after Prue's death who finds herself with Prue's power to move things with her mind. She struggles to find acceptance with her family, adapt to her new role, and deal with her past as a troublesome alcoholic teen who saw her adoptive parents die in front of her. Her past very much pushes her path towards the future.

Piper grows up as the middle child and then finds herself taking the place of the oldest sister. She struggles to adept to change, accept Paige and grieve while fighting evil, forever hoping for the normal life she can never have. She is both the weakest and strongest of the sisters in many ways, forever hoping life will falling into place yet always bouncing back when it doesn't
